Deals, referral codes and the student discount

How ESN referral codes, the student discount and creator codes work, and which deals are running now.

Deals right now

The current deals are always shown at the top of the Plans page. At the time of writing:

  • Pay yearly: 12 months for the price of 10, on every plan.
  • Buy 2 months, get the 3rd free, on the 11 original bot and Minecraft plans.
  • Free upgrade: your first month runs on the next plan up (not on Titan, Gift, game, web or VPS-lite plans).
  • Bot + Minecraft bundles: 20% off.
  • Code SPOOKY30: 30% off your first month on monthly plans, until October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Central.
  • A 7-day free trial on Nano bot servers until November 2, 2026.

You can use one code per checkout.

Referral codes

Every customer gets their own referral code after their first paid order. It looks like REF-YOURNAME.

  • Your friend enters your code at checkout and gets 50% off their first payment. It works on every hosting plan, including yearly, 3-month and bundle deals, for people who haven't bought from ESN before.
  • You get a one-time 50% off reward code the first time each new friend pays with your code. Reward codes last 90 days.
  • Using your own code doesn't earn a reward.

Get your code

Your code is sent by Discord DM if your Discord is linked, otherwise by email. You can also type /myreferral in the ESN Hosting Discord at any time.

Student discount

  1. In the ESN Hosting Discord, type /student with your school email address (for example one ending in .edu).
  2. You get a 6-digit code by email. Enter it with /student-verify or the Enter code button.
  3. You then get a one-time code for 25% off your first month on one of the 11 original monthly plans. It's valid for 30 days.

One student code per Discord account and per school email.

Creator codes

Make videos or streams about ESN? Apply with /creator apply in the ESN Hosting Discord. Approved creators get a code like CREATOR-NAME that gives their viewers 15% off their first purchase, and the creator earns 20% of each new customer's first month.

Still stuck? Use the live chat on the panel or ask in the ESN Hosting Discord. Last updated October 27, 2026.
