How to link your Discord account (and get booster perks)
Link your Discord to your ESN panel account with /link or from the panel, so you get server-ready DMs, your referral code and automatic booster and invite perks.
Linking tells ESN which Discord member owns which panel account. It's free and takes a minute. Once linked, you get:
- "Server ready" messages as a Discord DM, not just by email.
- Your own referral code by DM after you buy.
- Booster and invite perks applied to your account automatically (below).
Your Discord email and your panel email don't need to match.
Option 1: from the panel
- Sign in to the panel. If you see a Link now banner on the dashboard, choose it. Otherwise open your Account page.
- In the connected logins section, choose Discord and approve on Discord's page.
Option 2: with /link in the ESN Hosting Discord
- Join the ESN Hosting Discord.
- Type
/linkand enter your panel email or panel username. - Follow the bot's steps to prove the account is yours. Some links are approved by staff, so it can take a little while.
Booster and invite perks
When your Discord is linked, perks are added to your panel account automatically, once per Discord account:
- 1 server boost: a free server with the Basic plan's specs (1 GB RAM, 50% CPU, 4 GB disk).
- 2 or more boosts: the same server is upgraded to the Plus plan's specs (1.5 GB RAM, 75% CPU, 6 GB disk).
- 5 valid invites: a free server with the Plus plan's specs. An invite counts when the person you invited is still in the server and their Discord account is more than 7 days old.
It doesn't matter whether you boosted before or after linking. The free server starts as a Python bot; you can switch it to Node.js within 24 hours from the bot's message or with /perks.
A boost server stays free while you're boosting. If your boost ends, you get a 3-day grace period, then the server is suspended (never deleted). Boost again and it comes back.
